marketing message. Address duplicates are found and separated, addresses are standardized in structure

Formatting
Normally, various address lists are composed differently. So record layouts diverge from each other
more or less. This makes it difficult to compare these lists with each other to find and eliminate
duplicates. Match’n’Mail brings the lists to a common format when importing. Upper and lower case is
taken into consideration and differently coded special characters are recognized and standardized.
A Robinson list can be loaded as well.
Merge/Purge
With Match'n'Mail, various merge/purge settings can be selected::
- by person
- by household
- by company
Statistics
Match'n'Mail produces various statistics. For example:
- Overall statistics of gross and net addresses
- Output statistics by language, list and address
Marking
During merge/purge, overlaps between and within lists are found. Multiple addresses (duplicates) or net
addresses can be marked. The overlaps of the individual lists can be seen from the merge/purge protocol
that is generated automatically. This protocol provides a basis to define the final mailing amount for
each list. During one merge/purge, up to 60 address lists can be processed at the same time.
Preparation for mailing
The addresses are selected by defining target groups. The correct amount of mailing addresses is
achieved by selecting a cross section or output limit for the address lists. With Match’n’Mail, there
are various options to prepare your addresses for mailings.
The following types of address preparation are built in by default:
- Print of Cheshire
- Print of adhesive labels
In addition, adjustments for laser or inkjet print preparation are possible.
Job administration
Each completed merge/purge job can still be viewed afterwards. This is possible due to the integrated
job administration that informs about running and completed jobs.
How does Match'n'Mail work?
Match’n’Mail works automatically! During import of the address lists, the necessary formatting and coding
commands are set; after that, the merge/purge of the addresses runs automatically. Nevertheless, the jobs
can be constantly supervised. If special purge/merge requirements have to be met, you always have the
possibility to intervene manually, if required. The software Match'n'Mail is sophisticated so that a few
start commands will suffice. You can even have the net addresses prepared at the end of the run without
entering further input. You can choose a random or priority selection of addresses for output. Match'n'Mail
is a convenient and modern program.
Match'n'Mail is based on phonetic-mathematical algorithms. The duplicate evaluation is adjusted to the
peculiarities of towns, agglomerations and rural areas. The software fulfills the highest demands that are
set for software of this kind.
Match'n'Mail runs on which hardware?
Match'n'Mail runs on all IBM AS/400 and host systems. The software can easily be ported onto other systems.
Individual interface adjustments are also possible.
